saw royston tan's 15 again today - a feature film about ah bengs & ah sengs in Singapore.

it was a throwback to the past.. somewhat, not entirely, for sure.

one of the characters in the film, Shawn, said,

'In this world, there are no eternal friends or foes. Our friendship will last as long as it'll see us through'.

this obviously, is a very bleak outlook of life.

sometimes though, i wonder whether there is some truth what Shawn said.

not in the best of form,

not entirely uncommon anyway!

i think this two-faced, pretentious, self-serving idiot that i'm currently thinking about totally sucks.

you don't bloody deserve any attention you currently get. the only reason you're getting it is cos' you bloody crave it and suck up to the people whose attention your life depends on.

you use your friends for your interest, acting as if the rest of the world existed just to make your day. stop fanning your ego, it's utterly disgusting.

hell, you're seriously not worth my time and my brain cells,

and the person you look up to can go fly a kite too, for all i care,

heck, i'll provide you both the strings, the paper, the glue and i'd even pack you both off in a cab to west coast park..

seriously though, people are starting to realise what you're doing. one day, even those closest to you will wake up and realise what kind of a lowly, dishonourable person you are.

when that day arrives though, i just fear that you wouldn't be able to take it. instead, you'd probably follow in the paths of those you look up to -

away.

..the truth hurts, some people just can't handle it.
