that great weekend..

hmm... i just realised i was supposed to tell all about the great weekend i had on labour day... It was a Saturday.. if you have already forgotten... Played soccer at YJC in the morning.. which means waking up EARLY to get to the north of the country...took a bus there and walked for like ten minutes before arriving..

Didn't start the game.. came on as a left back.. then switched to centre back...then striker...then finally... centre midfield... i tell you... i was so shack during the game.. i hadn't played 11-a-side in like a year or something.. my friend said i looked sluggish from the stands.. whatever..

I had a goal scoring opportunity.. Titus centred the ball from the right.. i was one-on-one with the keeper.. with the ball slightly in front of me.. I stretched every sinew in mah leg to reach the ball.. I made minimal contact..slipped (it rained, lah) and saw the ball ricochet of the keeper's legs.. sucks... surely i should have scored... i've seen it so many times during games in the Premiership... it was easy...think i'll stick to street soccer for now..

Anyway, finished the game about noon. Made my way down to IMM with three other friends to buy stuff for the bbq that night...at my place..spent almost 2 hours there.. mainly cos of the human jam that was all around.. i think we queued for like 45 min to an hour... took cab home (should have seen the taxi boot man)...

This is actually a young adults gathering for the pple in my church... There are 2 young adult grps in Angora.. mine and the other... Jeremy's group was thinking of organising their own gathering.. playing tennis and bbq at SAFRA changi... I was thinking of organising a bbq on labour day.. so put 'em both together and we got our young adults gathering...

The pple trickled in about evening time...Rest of the night went okay.. what can you expect from a bbq, save for the usual stuff...played tennis with my peers and went home... shower then sleep.... ahhh.. 'twas a long day...

Yep.. that was THAT weekend.. i've got 2 more entries coming up.. lazy to type now.. i've got a stomachache coming up as well.. been to the jamban like twice in the past one and a half hours... sucks... can't play soccer yet..

I've still yet to write about the visit to MMI... and Singapore Idol... :)

btw.. i've been going to the gym recently.. the end of the first week was terrible i tell you.. now okay la.. started 10 May 2004... wonder when i'll get a toned body..

Finally bloggin again..

..Heh...was trying to sign up for an iguana mobile account with the nickname lizardskin... but some dude/dudette got there before me..sucks.. now i've gotta think of another nick...had an eventful weekend...tell you more later... wanna try to sign up for iguana mobile...oh btw for those who havent see me recently.. me got a new haircut...

Though the orrhhficers at the unit dont seem to like it..I seem to run into lots of trouble because of my hair... ever since secondary school right through polytechnic...sigh...whatever... i plan to get the "ethan zohn" hairdo when i finish army..which is about a year and eight months later....

hehehehe....got a friend's wedding dinner to attend this thursday..

Going for medical review with Fauzi this afternoon... scheduled for some form of counselling by the MO... when it's bad.. it's really really really bad...when it's good, which is happening more frequently these days, it can be great.. so...never thought i would ever be down for counselling... anyway...
